New EV sales in Galway have more than doubled this year.
There have been 769 new vehicle registrations in Galway up until October.
That's up 57 percent on the same time last year, when 490 new EVs were registered.
Nationally, more than 20 thousand new EVs have been registered in 2025 - an increase of almost 40 percent on last year.
