New safety signage to be installed on city bridges

From Galway Bay FM newsroom- New safety and information signage is to be installed at bridges across the city.

Councillor Niall McNelis says they'll contain the name of each bridge and numbers to call when services are needed.

It follows representations from local water safety groups and emergency services.

Councillor McNelis says this is a very important project which will help improve water safety in the city.
