New training facility approved for Oughterard to help with Olympics training

Galway Bay fm newsroom - Oughterard is set to get a new training gymnasium which it's hoped will help a champion boxer reach the Olympics next year.

Oughterard Boxing Club has secured planning permission for the facility behind the Old Girls National School.

The council has imposed a condition that the permission is for a period of 5 years.
