Former Galway West Fianna Fail TD Eamon O' Cuiv is hitting back at suggestions by the Taoiseach no one from the Parliamentary Party had put forward their name to run for the Presidency in the summer.
Micheal Martin is facing criticism after Jim Gavin withdrew from the race over a rental dispute 16 years ago.
There has also been criticism of the selection process.
