'Galway Gathers for Peace' is described as an event to show solidarity with those experiencing genocide, starvation and discrimination around the world. .
The event will take place at the Spanish Arch on Sunday at 2pm.
Organiser Nuala Ward says they'll also pay homage to late peace activist, Margaretta D'Arcy.
