The Galway Alliance Against War is holding a peace event for Iran in Galway city today.
The Iranian embassy has been invited to send a speaker to the event, which will declare support for Iran and stand in solidarity with the Iranian people.
The gathering is called "Iran Abu- Iran Forever", and will take place at the end of Shop Street at 6PM.
