Pedestrian crossing sought for Clonbur village following recent incidents

A pedestrian crossing is being sought for the entrance to Clonbur village following recent road incidents.

Councillor Tom Welby says it's becoming a blackspot for accidents, and has asked the council to carry out a report for the area.

He put forward a motion to install a crossing at a recent Connemara Municipal District meeting.

Independent Councillor Welby says action needs to be taken soon, because it's a huge local concern
