Galway Bay fm newsroom - A person has been taken to University Hospital Galway following a road traffic crash in Kilcolgan.
The accident happened in the past hour at the N18 - N67 junction in the village.
The road remains open but Gardai are advising motorists to expect delays over the next hour.
It's understood the person taken to UHG did not suffer serious injuries.
