Planners refuse Oranmore apartments plan with concerns on overdevelopment

County planners have refused a proposal for seven apartments in Oranmore with concerns focused on over development.

The plan led by Shane Curley would have also seen the demolition of an existing single storey office building.

In turning down the proposal, planners stated it would constitute over development and would impact on residential amenities of properties as well as visual amenities.
