Galway Bay fm newsroom - Further progress has been made in developing a new facility for Galway Hospice in the city.
The charity has secured planning permission from the city council for a new daycare and residential healthcare unit on the grounds of Merlin Park Hospital.
Galway Hospice says its current facility in Renmore is no longer able to meed the demand for its services.
