Plans are being assessed for a new sporting complex in Athenry.
The project is led by Carnaun Athenry Community Sports and Recreation Campus CLG on behalf of Athenry Camogie club.
It would be based at a site at Gortnahown, opposite the entrance to Clarin College.
The project envisions 3 grass playing pitches and an all-weather synthetic pitch with floodlighting.
A decision is expected from county planners by the end of February.
