Galway Bay fm newsroom - There are plans for a major technology facility in Ballinasloe.
Ballinasloe Area Community Development Ltd has applied for planning permission for a 1,300 square metre Advanced Technology Building at Creagh.
The development would also include surface car and bicycle parking, landscaping and drainage works.
A decision is due from county planners in January.
