A new school for Scoil an Chroí Naofa in Ballinasloe surely has to be on a list of projects ready for construction that's set to be published next week.
That's according to local TD Claire Kerrane, who says the school's been waiting 30 years - making it the longest running project in the country.
The Sinn Fein TD says staff are doing their very best, but the existing school is hopelessly out of date.
Deputy Kerrane says it would be unthinkable that it wouldn't be on the list for construction next week.
