Galway Bay fm newsroom - Power has been restored to 2700 houses in the East Galway area.
2,700 households experienced the outage this morning in areas including Turloughmore, parts of Claregalway, Ballyglunin, Abbeyknockmoy and Tuam.
It was due to issues with the transformer based in Claregalway.
