A protest is set to take place at County Hall on Friday over battery energy storage plans in Cregmore.
The plans are part of a significant 141 hectare solar farm, which was granted permission in 2021.
More recently, the developer is seeking approval for an extension of planning permission for a battery facility to store excess energy.
Residents in Cregmore, Grange and Ballymoneen claim this is NOT a case of NIMBYISM, or, "Not in my back yard".
