Protestors gather outside St Nicholas Church as senior European leaders gather

A group of around 30 protestors gathered outside St Nicholas Collegiate Church last evening.

They took to the streets as senior figures from across Europe attended an opening dinner - hosted by MEP Maria Walsh - for the European People's Party Summer University.

The members of the Ireland Palestine Solidarity Campaign are demanding stronger action over the ongoing conflict in Gaza.

These protestors told James Varley they want the the European Union to suspend its Association Agreement with Israel.
