A public drop-in information session on a planned active travel scheme at Monivea Road will be held later this month.

The scheme will run for almost 2km along the Monivea Road from the Old Ballybrit Road Junction to the Ballybane Road Junction.

It includes a new 3m wide two-way cycle track, new upgraded footpaths, narrowing of the existing road, junction tightening and and installation of pedestrian crossings.

The public information session takes place at the Clayton Hotel in Ballybrit on Thursday, March 19th from 3pm until 7pm.
