Galway East newsroom - A Galway East TD is urging people to write to their local representatives in support of the proposed 'Quiet Man Greenway' that would link Athenry to Milltown.
It follows meetings held in Athenry and Tuam earlier this month as part of the campaign.
It envisions a greenway of over 40km along the disused rail line that would link together Athenry, Tuam and Milltown.
Galway East TD and Junior Minister Ciaran Cannon says supporters of the greenway have 3 weeks to write to their local councillors.
