Galway Bay fm newsroom - Almost a quarter of a million euro has been sanctioned for the enhancement of group water schemes in Galway.
The funding of 240 thousand euro has been confirmed by Galway-Roscommon T.D and Minister for Communications and the Environment, Denis Naughten.
Minister Naughten says it's part of the Rural Water Programme 2018 and will enable measures that will improve water quality and reliability for households on group schemes.
