Quarter of UHG and Portiuncula cancer patients waiting over 2 weeks for treatment

Galway Bay fm newsroom - A quarter of cancer patients who attend UHG and Portiuncula Hospital wait over 2 weeks for IV treatment.

The National Cancer Control Programme says patients should receive the treatment within 15 working days of diagnosis.

However, according to the Irish Independent, the vast majority of hospitals are missing this target for some patients.
