The long-awaited R332 Kilbannon Road Realignment is to proceed early next year
The Department of Transport has approved funding for the significant safety and accessibility upgrade
It will include road realignment from Kilbannon village towards the GAA pitch, as well as a new footpath and cycleway linking St Benin’s National School.
Contracts will be signed in early January and construction works are expected to begin between January and March

The project was first proposed approximately seven years ago
