A new warning for rain has been issued for Galway and four other counties.
The status yellow alert - which also includes Clare, Cork, Kerry and Limerick - will take effect at 6 pm tomorrow and end at 3am on Wednesday morning.
Met Éireann is warning of heavy spells of blustery rain, which may lead to difficult travelling condition, poor visibility and localised flooding
Meanwhile, counties Donegal, Leitrim and Sligo remain under a status yellow warning for rain until 5 pm today.
