Galway Bay fm newsroom - The results of an independent review into the mental health service in Galway and Roscommon is due in the coming weeks.
The review was ordered in 2015 following serious concerns raised by Communications Minister and Galway Roscommon TD Denis Naughten over the operation of the service.
In his submission, Minister Naughten sought a full independent review of both acute and community mental health services in both counties.
The HSE has confirmed that it expects to receive a copy of the review report in the coming weeks.
