A search will resume later today off the Oranmore coast for a missing person.
It's for a person who it's understood entered the River Corrib, with searches beginning last Thursday.
The searches are being carried out by Gardaí, the Irish Coast Guard, Oranmore Maree Coastal Search Unit, Rescue 115, RNLI, Galway Lifeboat Station, Galway Civil Defence, Cleggan Coast Guard and Claddagh Watch Patrol.
The search will continue again this afternoon, meeting at the Galway Bay Sailing Club at 1pm, and those who want to support the search as asked to wear warm waterproof and high-viz clothing.
