Galway Bay fm newsroom - There's been a step forward in plans to build a new healthcare facility in Clifden.
Galway West Deputy Eamon O' Cuiv says the HSE has now appointed a design team to the project.
The new purpose built unit will replace St. Anne's Nursing Home and Clifden Hospital - which Deputy O' Cuiv says are both unsuitable for long-term requirements.
