There will be temporary restrictions and closures at South Park in the city as site investigations works begin next week.
The park will remain open, and sports pitches will not be closed; however, some areas may be subject to short-term disruption or restricted access.
The works be carried out within the park and surrounding public urban realm areas, and will inform the design development for the project.
The investigations will include the assessment of groundwater levels and flow, depth of the water table, and the composition, depth, and nature of the soil.

The four-weeks of works will begin next Monday June 15th, and restrictions will be in place between 8AM and 6PM from Monday to Friday until around the 17th of July
