Galway Bay fm newsroom - Restrictions on swimming and bathing at Spiddal beach have been lifted.
The county council announced a temporary ban last Friday due to high levels of bacteria detected in a water sample taken at Céibh an Spideál beach.
The prohibition has now been lifted.
