Ten Galway schools approved for new buildings and extensions

Ten schools across the city and county have been approved for either new buildings or extensions.

Minister for Education and Galway West TD Hildegarde Naughton has made the announcement for the significant batch of new school projects.

New buildings have been approved for Scoil Náisiúnta Seosamh Naofa in Carrabane, Gaelscoil Riada and Coláiste an Eachraidh in Athenry, Scoil Mhuire Moycullen, and Scoil an Chroi Naofa in Ballinasloe.

While extensions have been approved for Coláiste Cholmcille in Inverin, Clifden Community School, St Joseph's Special School in the city, Archbishop McHale College Tuam and Scoil Naisiunta Na Coille Glaise in Mountbellew.
