Two Galway schools to compete in National art competition

Two Galway schools have been selected to represent the county at the Someone Like Me national art competiton.

The Junior Infants class at St Nicolas National School in waterside will compete in the junior category with their Game Changer board game, which celebrates differences.

6th class student Benjamin Buday from Sylane National School, Tuam will enter the Senior category with a photo collage showing his life as a student and young carer of his sister.

The national competition takes place on Wednesday 28th of January at Dublin City hall, with 50 schools taking part.

Junior infants Teacher at St Nicolas' National School, Imelda Ferguson, says that the project could inspire other students at the school.
