Galway Bay fm newsroom - Electricity customers in the Portumna area are experiencing a blackout this morning due to a fault.
More than two and a half thousand households and businesses are without power due to a fault registered at the Ballycrissane station.
ESB crews are currently working on the fault and hope to restore power to the Portumna area by around 11 this morning.
