UHG showcases radiology expertise at global conference in Germany

UHG has been showcasing its radiology expertise at a global conference in Germany.

The hospital's Interventional Radiology Department performed complex endovascular procedures live on camera to an audience of 2,000 people.

Attendees were able to interact directly with the clinical teams at UHG, asking questions as procedures were carried out in real time.

University Hospital Galway is the only hospital in Ireland or the UK which is broadcasting live procedures to the significant global event.
