There's uncertainty the Christmas charity swim will go ahead as usual in Portumna.
Each year, the bathing area hosts the fundraising event on Christmas morning, but the County Council says it's not in the position to give the go-ahead for it at this time.
It's due to a No Swim Notice, which was put in place in August due to safety concerns raised over reeds in the water
