A University of Galway student has been awarded a prestigious inaugural scholarship for diabetes research.
Ruth Alejandra Huerta Sinesio has earned the first ever 'A. Menarini Pharmaceuticals Ireland Scholarship' for a Master of Science in Clinical Research.
Ruth, originally from Mexico City, was recognised for her outstanding achievements and commitment to advancing diabetes research and patient care.
The scholarship is offered by University of Galway in partnership with the HRB Diabetes Collaborative Clinical Trial Network.
