Views sought on CCTV for Ballybane public areas to deter littering

A public consultation process is underway on the provision of CCTV in public areas of Ballybane to help deter littering.

The City Council is accepting written or email submissions, and the public consultation closes on Thursday 9th July.

Galway City Council is looking for people's views on the implementation CCTV for the prevention of littering and illegal dumping.

In particular it's looking at the potential to implement CCTV cameras in two areas of Ballybane - Fána Glas and Sliabh Bán.

Submissions or observations may be made in writing to the Environment Department of Galway City Council.
