Warning catering services on Galway-Dublin train unlikely to return anytime soon

Catering services on the Galway to Dublin rail line are unlikely to return in the near future - and that's not fair or acceptable.

That's according to Galway West TD John Connolly, who says since COVID, services were restored on the Dublin-Cork and Dublin-Belfast services.

It's understood Iarnrod Eireann has been looking at possibilities, but the options are proving too expensive.

Fianna Fail Deputy Connolly says the Galway-Dublin line is extremely important and it shouldn't be treated as a lesser service.
