Galway Bay fm newsroom - A woman is being treated in hospital this evening (22/08) following a fall at Diamond Hill in Connemara.
The French tourist had been hiking in the area at lunchtime when the incident occurred.
Galway Mountain Rescue and Cleggan Coastguard Unit were drafted to the scene .
The woman was airlifted to Castlebar Hospital with non life threatening injuries.
