Works are set to begin in the coming weeks on a new social and affordable housing development in Loughrea.
The estate will be built on a greenfield site at Cosmona and when completed will offer 44 houses and 12 apartments.
It'll be delivered by C&N Higgins Construction, who have signed a €15m contract with Galway County Council.
