X-rays, surgery and a bouncy castle - University of Galway’s Teddy Bear Hospital returns

Hundreds of children from all over Galway have been bringing their teddies to Day 1 of the University of Galway’s Teddy Bear Hospital.

The annual two-day event is run by the University’s Sláinte society to give children a positive hospital experience and to see in a fun way how the healthcare sector operates.

Along with treating physical ailments with x-rays and surgery, the hospital is also helping boost morale with a disco and bouncy castle.
