For a limited time, fans can sample iconic favourites from Canada, Japan, Australia, Malaysia and beyond, no passport required.

McDonald’s Ireland has pulled off the ultimate menu heist  and your taste buds are the target!

Nine legendary items from four continents have been liberated from their home countries, landing in Irish restaurants from Wednesday, 22nd October.

For the first time ever, fans can travel the world, one bite at a time. Here’s your all-access pass to the world’s most talked-about McDonald’s items, now available in Ireland:

The Mains: 

Maple BBQ & Bacon Double Quarter Pounder – from Canada
A Canadian twist on a classic: two juicy Quarter Pounder 100% Irish Beef patties, with creamy Maple BBQ sauce, bacon, cheese, crispy onions and pickles served in a toasted sesame seed bun.

Pineapple McSpicy – from Australia
Australia brings the heat with this fiery chicken burger, balanced by a juicy slice of tropical pineapple.

Made from 100% chicken breast in a crispy coating with the classic sandwich sauce, the burger also comes with bacon, cheese and lettuce served on a toasted sesame seed bun.

The Sides:

Garlic & Black Pepper McNuggets – from Japan
100% chicken breast meat in a crispy coating, with garlic and a kick of black pepper, served with a Garlic & Soy Mayo dip.

Crispy and bold, these Japanese-inspired nuggets are a flavour bomb in every bite.

Sour Cream & Black Pepper McShaker Fries – from Poland
Turn up the taste with McShaker Fries! Add the sachet of sour cream & black pepper seasoning to the shaker bag, shake it up, and enjoy fries that are peppered with fun!

Mac & Cheese Triangles – from The United Arab Emirates (UAE)
Triangles of macaroni pasta in a cheddar cheese sauce, in a crispy breadcrumb coating served with a Tomato Ketchup dip.

The Desserts 

Choco Caramel Pie – from Indonesia
A gooey, chocolatey dessert with molten caramel and chocolate ganache at its heart. Sweet lovers, rejoice – Indonesia delivers indulgence.

Chocolate or Caramel Pretzel McFlurry – from Malaysia
Malaysia’s sweet-and-salty masterpiece: creamy soft serve swirled with crunchy pretzel pieces with either a chocolate or caramel sauce.

The Drink 

Sakura x Sprite – from Japan
A floral, fizzy refreshment with a Japanese twist. Sprite Zero meets sugar-free Sakura syrup, served over ice for a crisp, delicate drink.
