After another thrilling weekend of action in Tuam in the Cairn Connacht Community Games Team finals, five Galway clubs are through to the All-Ireland Finals weekend in Carlow SETU on August 23rd and 24th. Kinvara were already through in the U14 Camogie competition, and they were joined by Moycullen's U10 Mixed Gaelic Football team, the U11 hurlers from Woodford/Tynagh, and both the U13 and U15 Athenry Rounders teams. Two Galway teams missed out on qualification after being defeated in their respective Connacht finals: Oranmore Maree U12 Girls' Soccer 7-a-side and the Clarinbridge U15 Girls' Soccer team.
