Galway United set to host Wexford in All-Island Cup semi-final

The race to reach the 2025 Women's All-Island Cup Final reaches a critical stage on Saturday as the two Semi-Finals take place. Holders Galway United will host Wexford, while Bohemians take on Shelbourne as the four SSE Airtricity Women’s Premier Division teams attempt to book their place in this year’s showpiece event.

Galway are two-time winners of this competition, and their pursuit of a three-peat sees them host Wexford in Eamonn Deacy Park. The Tribeswomen beat Shamrock Rovers in the Quarter-Finals after previously beating Cliftonville Ladies and Cork City in Group C. Wexford’s path to the final four saw them come through Group B, where they beat Lisburn Rangers and DLR Waves before edging past Peamount United in the Quarter-Finals.

Bohemians will be hoping to reach a first-ever Cup Final since launching their senior team in 2020. They have advanced to this stage by beating Linfield while also drawing with Sligo Rovers and Shelbourne in Group A before overcoming Glentoran in the Quarter-Finals. For Shelbourne, the quest to add another piece of silverware to the packed trophy cabinet in Tolka Park continues as they aim to build on the 6-0 Quarter-Final win over Treaty United ahead of meeting Dublin rivals Bohemians.

The two Semi-Finals will be available to watch live on LOITV, while this year’s Final will be broadcast live on TG4 on Saturday, August 30th, with kick-off set for 19:35.
