Coral Leisure Centre is set to come alive this weekend as it celebrates 20 years open to the public. Join Ollie for all the details of what's on offer including music, activities, and family fun. Whether you're a fitness enthusiast, a family looking for a fun day out, or just want to soak up the atmosphere, there will be something for everyone throughout the day.
Coral Leisure have a special weekend planned with 20-year old prices all day in the centre as a thank you to the community, there's a range Swim special prices over the weekend.
Keeping the energy high, DJ Eoin Melia will be on the decks from 1pm–4pm. Visitors can also enjoy refreshments from the AE Club Café, while the Americano Ice Cream Truck will be on-site serving delicious treats throughout the afternoon.
There's fab Free Fitness Challenges in the Gym from 11am–4pm.
Fitness fans can test their endurance and strength with a range of free gym activities running from 11am to 4pm: like the 20-Minute Triathlon Challenge that's a 20 minutes Bike, a 20 minutes Swim and a 20 minutes Run challenge. Highest total distance wins!
You could test yourself with BDO Strength Challenge (Squat, Bench, Deadlift, Overhead & Deadman) A true Strongman/Strongwoman style challenge open to anyone over 18. Participants can join anytime between 11am–4pm, and best of all – it’s completely FREE.
Create a splash and try out the Pool Activities for All Ages. The pool area will be packed with excitement all day with free swims, inflatables and fun floatables for extra entertainment, so it's going to be a lively atmosphere perfect for families and groups
There's Family & Kids Entertainment! Children are more than welcome to join the fun with activities including, fitness games in the studio, treasure hunt with prizes every hour, face painting, and tasty treats to enjoy along the way

The Pool

Main Pool: A six-lane, 25m x 10.5m pool with depths ranging from 1m to 2m. Perfect for lane swimming, training, or casual dips.

Learner Pool: Measuring 10.5m x 7m with shallow depths (0.6m to 0.9m) ideal for beginners and children learning to swim.

Toddler Pool: A fun, circular pool (3.5m in diameter) located beside the learner pool, designed for little ones to splash safely.
The pool area also features a 150-seat spectator gallery—great for swim meets and lessons—and a relaxing health suite complete with jacuzzi, steam room, and sauna.
