Men's Health Week at T O'Higgins

Men's Health Week at T O'Higgins:  This Men's Health Week, we're proud to support T.O'Higgins as they encourage men across Galway and beyond to remember an important message: progress matters more than perfection.

Many men face challenges when it comes to their physical health, mental wellbeing, fitness goals, work-life balance, or simply asking for support when they need it. Too often, the pressure to have everything figured out can become a barrier to taking action. But meaningful change doesn't happen overnight—it begins with one small step.

As part of Men's Health Week,  we broadcast live from Tom O'Higgins on Monday, June 15th.  John Morley on Galway Talks will focus on the theme "One Small Step – Progress, Not Perfection." The day we hope will shine a light on the positive impact of small, achievable actions that can improve health and wellbeing over time. Join John and the team from 9am on Monday.

The journey to better health can sometimes feel overwhelming. Large goals may seem out of reach, but breaking them into manageable actions makes them achievable. Small, consistent efforts help build confidence, create healthy habits, and lead to lasting improvements.

Whether it's starting a daily walk, making a healthier food choice, checking in with a friend, booking a health appointment, or taking a few moments each day to focus on mental wellbeing, every step forward counts.

Men's Health Week aims to encourage open conversations and practical actions that support healthier lives. The message is simple: you don't need to be perfect; you just need to get started.
