The Galway Races held their annual Summer Festival Launch Party in the stunning new Radisson RED Hotel in Galway, setting the tone for what promises to be another unforgettable Galway Races Summer Festival - a week full of racing, fashion, and fun for all from Monday, 28th July to Sunday, 3rd August.
Guests were warmly welcomed by Dr. Colm O'Flaherty, the new Chairman of the Galway Races Committee, and Michael Moloney, CEO of the Galway Races, who both spoke passionately about the upcoming festival and shared insights into all things racing. The afternoon also marked the first official engagement of Mayor Mike Cubbard in his new role as Mayor of Galway City.
Always a standout on Galway’s social and fashion calendar, the event brought together a host of familiar faces and racing fans.
The event also celebrated key sponsorship milestones, including Diageo’s 60th year of partnership with the Galway Races, Tote’s 15th year sponsoring the historic Galway Plate, and
Chanelle Pharma’s 40th year supporting the Leading Trainer Award.
A fantastic crowd turned out to kick off the excitement, and the event offered a vibrant glimpse into the fashion, style, and atmosphere that await at the week-long Summer Festival. The Galway Races continues to be a multigenerational celebration, with something for everyone to enjoy!
