The Ireland women's senior rugby team held an opening training session at Ennis RFC in Clare on Thursday (17th July 2025) ahead of the start of the Rugby World Cup.
Action begins in Sunderland on Friday, 22nd August, when hosts England face the USA. Ireland are in Pool C with Japan, New Zealand and Spain.
The Ireland joint captain is Connacht flanker Edel McMahon, and she chatted to Galway Bay FM's William Davies.
