Andy Quinn from Creggs has been adjusting to life at Boston College since moving there to play American Football late last year.
Andy famously won the 2022 Aer Lingus College Football Classic ‘Kicking King’ competition and is now preparing for his first Division 1 College Football season.
Known as a kicker and a punter, Andy also recently won the Sam Foltz Award, honouring his work ethic, humility, and on-field excellence in the spirit of the late Sam Foltz, named after the Nebraska punter who was killed in a car crash while returning from a kicking camp in Wisconsin.
He now also features with the "Aer Lingus Classic - College Football Diaries", an exclusive series offering a unique behind-the-scenes look at College Football.
John Mulligan caught up with him following his return from US Ambassador to Ireland Ed Walsh's 4th of July Celebrations in Dublin.
