Athenry can make history this Saturday (28th June 2025) when they clash with Kilkenny's Callan United in the FAI Women's under-17 Cup Final.
The Galway side will become the first to win back-to-back crowns, having beaten Dublin's Killester/Donnycarney 4-2 last year. And they'll also be strengthened by last season's under-16s who also achieved national glory.
Athenry beat Ratoath Harps 5-1 in the semi-final. Callan, in their first ever final, overcame Kinamanagh 2-1.
Leading up to the game, Athenry manager Mike Noone has been chatting to Galway Bay FM's Darren Kelly.
Kick-off at Fairview Rangers, Limerick on Saturday is 2pm.
