Aughavas vs Cárna-Caiseal (Connacht Junior Football Semi-Final Preview with John Casey)

Despite not gaining promotion to intermediate football, Primary junior football champions Cárna-Caiseal take a step into the unknown when they travel to Leitrim's Aughavas in the AIB Connacht Junior Football Semi-Final on Sunday (16th November 2025).

Victories over Fr. Griffin's Éire Óg and Williamstown gave the Connemara club their first Galway silverware since 2012.  But they face an in-form Aughavas outfit who will play Division 1 football in their county in 2026.

Leading up to the game, Cárna-Caiseal bainisteoir John Casey chatted to Galway Bay FM's Darren Kelly.
