Big weekend ahead in Galway club football championships

Next weekend will be make or break for a number of teams hoping to make the quarter finals of the senior football championship and avoid the relegation play-offs, while all four Intermediate Football Championship quarter finals and the two Intermediate relegation play-offs will be played on Saturday and Sunday.

SENIOR FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP

Saturday - Group 1 (all games at 3.15pm): Barna v An Spidéal in Moycullen; St Michaels v Killererin in Kenny Park; Salthill Knocknacarra v Milltown in Tuam Stadium

Sunday - Group 2: Corofin v Leitir Mór 12.30pm Spiddal; Tuam Stars v Claregalway 2pm Kenny Park; Annaghdown v St James 3.45pm Kenny Park

Saturday - Group 3: Monivea Abbey v Killannin 3.15pm Pearse Stadium; Moycullen v Caherlistrane 5pm Kenny Park; Mountbellew Moylough v An Cheathru Rua 5pm Pearse Stadium

INTERMEDIATE FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP

Saturday - Relegation Play-Offs: Williamstown v Oileain Arainn 1pm Annaghdown; Clifden v St Gabriels 2.45pm Annaghdown

Saturday - Quarter Final: Dunmore MacHales v Oranmore Maree 5pm Tuam Stadium

Sunday - Quarter Finals: Headford v Cortoon Shamrocks 2.45pm Tuam Stadium; Oughterard v Caltra 3pm Pearse Stadium; Kilconly v Micheal Breathnach 4.45pm Pearse Stadium
