St Joseph's College, the Bish, created history in the Connacht GAA Centre in Bekan yesterday by winning their first ever Juvenile A Connacht title in their 150-year history by beating perennial kingpins St Jarlaths Tuam in the final by 3-9 to 0-11. The city school, made up of players from St James, St Michaels, Salthill Knocknacarra, Fr Griffins Eire Og, Corofin, Headford and Moycullen, were worthy winners after an epic contest which saw the sides level at half-time 1-5 to 0-8.
